B.Sc, Grad Dip Chiro
Gonstead Chiropractor
Diplomate GCS(Aust)
I first learnt about Chiropactic as a teenager. A friend of mine’s flatmate was a Chiropractor and after watching him at work, I knew I had found my destiny. After completing the 5 year Chiropractic course (NSW University and Sydney College of Chiropractic) in 1986, I initially worked with two Chiropractors before setting up practice in Mascot. I have been in Mascot ever since.
I became interested in providing Chiropractic care for the corporate world. This was a natural progression for me working in Mascot as I was already providing Chiropractic care for people from various companies in the area. At this time I was involved, on site and at my Centre, with companies such as Qantas, Grocon, Amcor, National Cables, Pilkington Glass and Kimberley-Clarke.
Besides my work here at Mascot Chiropractic Centre, I also facilitate Corporate Health and Wellness Programs. I enjoy giving talks to schools, companies, groups and individuals about Chiropractic/Health related topics. I have been coaching
and mentoring Chiropractic students, new graduates and peers in Gonstead chiropractic skills for many years.
I am married to Melissa (whom is also a Chiropractor) and also my partner here at Mascot Chiropractic Centre. We have two beautiful daughters. Our eldest is a Civil Engineer. Our youngest is also a Chiropractor working on the Central Coast. I also enjoy the great outdoors and have a particular passion for water sports, especially fishing, sailing and waterskiing. I enjoy eating well, exercising regularly and being adjusted often.
At the front desk and generally running the show, you will find Janene and/or Kim. Janene as been working with us for the last 10 years and Kim started with us in early 2014. They are both friendly, approachable, efficient ladies and we are lucky to have them on our team.

I am a true local, growing up and living in the inner city suburb of Beaconsfield. I left school in 1977 and worked in the reception and clerical field over the next 8 years. I studied and completed courses in Welfare work and Childcare and spent 15 years working in childcare centres in Waterloo, Redfern and Botany. I then took on special needs roles in centres in Erskineville and Paddington. I have 3 adult children and a 4th in the form of my Shitzu Maltese dog named Wesley.
I joined the Mascot Chiropractic Team in 2003 and have really enjoyed watching the centre grow and develop, taking on new challenges as we meet the changing needs of health care.

I grew up in the south-western suburbs of Sydney until I was married, and my husband and I then moved to the Sutherland Shire where we live today. My career over the last 20 years has mainly been in the financial sector and focusing on customer service. I spent some time at home raising our 4 kids and renovating 2 homes. We are actively involved in our kids' sporting activities. I have a passion for giving back to our community and am thoroughly enjoying working in this small team dedicated to helping people lead healthy lives.
